本製品の特徴は、ヤスリや塗装による表面的なエイジングではなく、実際に50〜60年の年月を経て生じる革の経年変化を再現したレザー表現にあります。

熟練の職人が一点一点加工を施すことで、自然で奥行きのある質感を生み出し、ヴィンテージに限りなく近い表情に仕上げています。

形状は、1960年代ベイツスタイルのタック＆ロール・コブラシートをベースに設計。

当時のシルエットとバランスを踏襲し、トラディショナルなチョッパースタイルに適したフォルムとなっています。

縫い目の見えない伝統的なタックロール構造、表皮の縫製ライン、鉄製プレス加工によるシートパンなど、外観から内部構造に至るまで徹底的に再現。

細部に至るまで一切の妥協なく仕上げています。

実際に貴重なヴィンテージシートを分解・検証し、この分野に精通したデザイナーと熟練職人が共同で開発。

当時の雰囲気を日常使いで楽しめるプロダクトとして仕上げています。

A 60s Bates-style cobra seat, crafted using crack leather developed in collaboration between W&Co. and a Japanese leather manufacturer.
The defining feature of this model is its authentic aging expression.
Rather than relying on artificial distressing such as sanding or paint, the leather reproduces the natural aging that occurs over 50–60 years.
Each piece is individually finished by skilled craftsmen, resulting in a deep, organic texture that closely resembles genuine vintage leather.
The shape is based on a traditional 1960s Bates-style tuck-and-roll cobra seat.
Its proportions and silhouette are designed to complement classic chopper builds.
From the hidden-stitch tuck-and-roll construction to the stitching lines and pressed steel seat pan,
every detail—both visible and unseen—has been carefully executed without compromise.
Developed through the disassembly and study of rare vintage originals,
this seat is designed to deliver an authentic vintage feel in a practical, everyday form.
It is also recommended as a functional seat for preserving original vintage components.
