1972年からサプライヤーとしてアレンネスにチョッパーシートを提供し始めたダニー・グレイ。

半世紀以上に渡り様々なカスタムビルダーに影響を与えた往年のボタンタフト（ボタンダウン）デザインです。

チョッパーシートにおいて最初期のボタンタフト・パターンのデザインであり、業界において重要な意味を持つデザインの一つと考えています。

このクラシックなボタンタフト・デザインを現代のテイストに合わせてサンプリング/リデザインし、敬意を込めて”DGパターン”と名付けました。


シートベースは鉄板使用し、フェンダーのラインに合わせてある程度曲げることが出来ますので、ご自身のチョッパーにベストなバランスでのお取り付けが可能です。

当時物をストックする為の日常使いシートとしてもお勧めです。

The Standard Cobra Seat – DG Pattern by Whale&Co., developed in collaboration with a Japanese leather manufacturer, features specially engineered aging leather that replicates the natural wear and character formed over 50–60 years.
This model is inspired by the legacy of Danny Gray, who began supplying chopper seats to Arlen Ness in 1972.
His button-tufted designs have influenced custom builders for over half a century and remain one of the most iconic styles in chopper seat history.
Recognized as one of the earliest button-tufted patterns in the industry, this design holds significant historical value.
We have reinterpreted this classic style through a modern lens—sampling and redesigning it with respect—resulting in what we call the “DG Pattern.”
The steel seat base allows for slight adjustment to match your fender line, enabling you to achieve the ideal fit and balance for your chopper.
Also recommended as a practical everyday seat to preserve your original vintage parts.
